She was predeceased by : her siblings, Mary, Linda Wickfield and Robert Borland. She is survived by : her husband Andrew Schaafsma; her children, Sindy and Bruce; her grandchildren, Anthony (Meaghan) and Megan; and her great grandchild Colton.

Memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation or Kingsville Community Church.
