He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Dech and Jacob Dech. He is survived by: his sibling Jamie (Ina); his stepmother Doreen Lamotte-Dech; his brother Kevin Lamotte (Cynthia); his nephews, Jeff, Joel (Toni), Josh (Cait) and Jon (Marisa); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Emilia, Ian and Elysia.
