He was predeceased by : his wife Maria Do Santo Cristo (Cacilhas); and his siblings, Manuel Cabral, Maria Coelho (Manuel), Ludovina Almeida (José), Emilia Pacheco (Manuel), Emilia Arruda (Guilherme), Mariana Trinadade (José), Mariana Arruda (Manuel), Manuel Pereira (Germana) and Maria Pereira (José).

He is survived by : his children, Joe, Grace, Mario, Maria, Helena, Tony, Eduardo, Kelly, Isabel, Bill, Peter, Cheryl, Bernadette, Chris, Madalena, Timothy, Robert, Tammy, Amelia and Jeff; and his sister Evangelina Nadeau (Andre). He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
