He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Gelissen and Emily Gelissen (Leinders); his nephew Dutch Tantes (Mia); his children, Marcus (Kadey), Claudia Studak (Jim) and Mary-Lou (Dan); his stepson Devon Gale (Holly); his grandchildren, Lily, Emery Gelissen Sam (Toronto) and Miranda Gale (Windsor); and his brother Joseph Windsor (Marlo).

He is survived by: his significant other Marika Gale; and his siblings, Ria Van Hinsberg Holland (Carl), Wim Gelissen Windsor (Maria) and Theo Gelissen Holland (Gertie).
