He was predeceased by : his spouse Mariannina Papillo; his parents, Michele Papillo and Teresa Schiavello Papillo; his siblings, Rosa Fusca, Celestina DiBiase, Lucia Canatelli and Prudenza Collela; and his siblings-in-law, Domenico, Eleanora, Lucia, Grazia, Peppina and Rosaria.

He is survived by : his children, Theresa Aloisio (late Adam), Michael Papillo (Marisa) and Rosemary Papillo; his grandchildren, Aldo (Lori), Marianne (Tom), Nick (Alison), Elena (Nicholas) and Anthony; his great grandchildren, Christopher, Colin, Carly, Nico, Rocco, Atticus, Cassio, Maverick, Ariana and Liliana; and his cousin Prudenza Caglioti of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
