He was predeceased by : his spouse Shirley Aileen (Fox); and his siblings, Delores, Pearl, Leonard and Wayne.

He is survived by : his children, Nancy Hughes (Ed), Brian Bedal and James Bedal; his grandchildren, Kenneth of Jodie, B. J., Corey and Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Michael and Jordan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
