She was predeceased by: her husband John B. Adams; her stepchildren, John Adams (Jackie) and Judy Williamson (Steve); her parents, Thomas Ryan and Verna; and her siblings, Leo, Josephine, Gerald, John, Eleanor, Phillip and Robert.

She is survived by: her children, Steven Scott (Joyce) of Edgewater, BC, John Scott (Kathy) of Belleville, Mary Jane George (Kevin) of Red Deer, AB and Michael Scott (Michelle) of Madoc; her stepson Douglas Adams (Sally); and her siblings, Nora Reeves (late Arthur), Eugene Ryan, Margaret Ryan, Monica Wilkinson (Sidney) and William Ryan (Brenda). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
