He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Scaletta; and his siblings, Charles Scaletta (Jean), Gus Scaletta (Sarah), Ida Deodato (Tony), Anne Angelo (Dom), Joe Scaletta (Rose), Mary Naples (Mike), Sam Scaletta (Kathleen) and Tom Scaletta (Gladys).
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Vanderloop (David) and Tim Scaletta (Linda); his grandchildren, Timara, Kyra and Hannah; and his great grandchildren, Tatum, Tucker and Nash. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weaver Family Funeral Home (29 Bay St, Quinte West, ON K8V1H2). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (140 Dundas St W, Quinte West, ON K8V4Y2). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. George's Anglican Cemetery.
