She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Stevens and Rebecca Stevens; her husband John Van Heukelom; and her siblings, Shirley Stevens, Barbara Less and Gary Stevens.

She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Wood (Denis) and Susan Plumley (Brian); her siblings, Marie Jackson (late Ken), John Stevens (Kim Holden) and Bonnie Paul (Bruce); her grandchildren, Scott, Robert, Adam, Natasha, Cody, Catherine and Christopher; and her great grandchildren, Sienna, Olivia, Mason, Avery, Logan, Brett, Nathan, Zachary, Liam, Ezra, Knox and Zeke.
