She was predeceased by : her parents, Donat Mainville Sr. and Emeriza Lacasse; her husband Harold James Hewitt; her siblings, Donat Jr. (Germaine), Philippe, Lucien (Lucille), Gabrielle (Wilfred), Laurentia Mainville and Philias; and her close friend Fernande Pilon.

She is survived by : her children, Joanne King (ON) of Orleans, Gail Best (QC) of Vaudreuil-Dorion and Norman Hewitt (Donna Rathwell) of Kanata; her grandchildren, Jessica King (Sean Freeman) of Ottawa, Bruce Best (Bianca Lauzon) of Hudson, BJ King of Ottawa, Shaugn Best (Emily) of Kingston and Rebecca Emily Best; and her sister-in-law Elodia (Philias). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.

Condolences will be received from 10am at the St. Michel de Wentworth Church August 5th before the Mass.

At the family request, in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
