He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucien Guertin and Léona Guertin; his close friend Réjeanne Guérin; and his brother Marcel Guertin (Diane). He is survived by: his sons, Benoit Guertin (Julie), Patrick Guertin (Elena) and Steven Guertin (Aziza); his grandchildren, Jérémy, Audrey, Mila, Ella, Zakariya, Ilyas, Kayani, Ghaniya, Hassan and Alwiya; his siblings, Pierre Guertin, France Guertin and Anik Guertin; Caroline Demers and Dominique Benoit. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
