He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Springer and Beatrice Pendleton; and his siblings, Eleanor Arnold, Roy Spinger, Bill Springer, Ben Springer, Patricia Price Springer, Lloyd Springer and Alice Springer.

He is survived by: his wife Georgina; his children, Alan Springer (Kim) and Linda Springer (late Larry Brown); his grandchildren, Matthew Turner (Jade), Michael Turner, Mitchel Turner (Kourtney), Lucas Springer, Madilynn, Claire, Grace, Jericko and Nakina; and his siblings, Glady Challis, Bert Springer (Elsie), Elsie Howey (Mike), Rose Fawkingham, Gord Springer and Rob Pendleton (Jenn).
