He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ken and Arlene McDonald; and his parents, Frank Connors and Anne Connors. He is survived by: his spouse Janet Connors; his sons, Todd, Brad (Laura) and Craig (Donna); his grandchildren, Christie, Ryan, Lexie, Emma, Annie, Ethan, Alexa and Ty; his siblings, Alan, Robert, Diana Robbins and Gail Robinson; and his significant other York Transport.

In 2000 Frank was diagnosed with Alzheimer Disease and the family began the difficult journey through the illness.
