It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Albert Enair (Hilton Beach, Ontario), who passed away on March 19, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Enair and Gerty Enair; his father-in-law James McIntyre; his brothers, Roy (late Donna) and Chuck (Ginette); and his sister-in-law Mary (Gerry).
He is survived by: his wife Sue Enair; his sons, Benjamin and Joshua (Chantal); his grandchildren, Saphira, Talon (Akaysha), Joshua Jr., Robert, Michaela, Jacob and Cole; his birth mother Harlene Newton; his mother-in-law Effie McIntyre; his sisters-in-law, May (Andreas) and Nancy (Jacob); his aunts and uncles, Reg Newton (Pat) and Kelly; and his children, Kimmy (Len) and Jenna (family: Lori, Carrie, Kendra, Julie, Karen, Emily, Travis). He is also survived by many cousin, friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Joseph Island Free Methodist Church, in honour of his lifelong commitment to helping others and the love and support received by him church family.
