He is survived by: his parents, Alex Smith and Ina Smith of Holland Landing; his sister Amanda (Jason McLennan) of Bracebridge; his nieces and nephews, Jackson, Campbell and Matilda; and his aunt Margaret Fenton of Holland Landing. He is also survived by his family and friends.
