He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Smith and Lucy Smith; his son Jim; his sister Pam Williams; his wife Susie; his son Dr. Miles Smith (Mary); his grandchildren, Victoria and George of Toronto; his sister Barbara Sheard; his brother-in-law David Williams; and his nephews, Simon Williams (Wendy) and Dr. Stephen Williams (Jenny).
In lieu of flowers and for those who wish to honour Mike, donation to fund a second recipient of Seneca College's "James Kinsey Smith Memorial Award (C207)", an award dearest to Mike's heart, will be most appreciated by family.
