He was predeceased by: his mother Marie; his stepfather Fritz; and his siblings, Gustav, Irmgard, Arnold, Irving, Heinz, Gunter and George.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kim (David) and Bev (Chris); his grandchildren, Ryan (Sarah), Bryce and Maya; his great grandchild Xavier; his in-laws, Lenore, Betty, Stewart, Renata and Bernice; his wife Marie; and his family Marie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
