He was predeceased by: his former wife Odette; and his brother Matthew Derzai. He is survived by: his wife Annie; his stepchildren, Andrea Schreiner Stapff, Arndt and Arlen Schreiner; his nieces, Melinda Manson (Michael), Cindy Derzai and Wendy Derzai Minnett (Dave); and his sister-in-law Karen Stokes.
