He was predeceased by: his siblings, Judy Kelsall, Milton Patterson, Mabel Patterson, Keith Patterson and Gerry Patterson; his parents, Leonard Patterson and Emma Patterson; and his grandchildren, Crystal, Scotty and Danielle.
He is survived by: his significant other Betty MacDonald; his children, Donna Patterson, Stephen Patterson, Lisa Schembri (Doug) and Meredith Patterson (Phil); his stepchildren, George, Jamie and Shona (Steve); his grandchildren, Brandi (Jon), Dominic (Mackenzie), Brianna, Charlie and Henry; his stepgrandchildren, Stella, Parker, Oscar, Braden and Jared; his great grandchildren, Matty, Kenny and Beth; and his sister Audrey Mollison. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
