He was predeceased by: his wife Reta May (Kirkness); his parents, Joseph Robert White and Mona Irene (O'Connor); and his siblings, Bertha (late Bill), Gloria (late Fred), Bonnie, Arthur (late Alice), Ross (Betty), Lorne (Darlene) and Wayne.
He is survived by: the fathers of children, William and Ronald (Diana); his daughter Elaine (late Bob); his grandchildren, Brittany, Augusta, Jade and Burke; and his uncle George. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Billingsley Funeral Home (430 Ravenscliffe Rd, Huntsville, ON P1H1L7). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery (485 Muskoka District Road 3, Huntsville, ON P1H1C6). A reception was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 232 (21 Veterans Way, Huntsville, ON P1H1P4).
