It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verta MacDonald in Huntsville, Ontario, who passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Wieler and Frances Wieler; and her husband William "Bill" MacDonald. She is survived by: her children, Robert (Roberta), Jill Bullen, Peter (Sherry) and Patti Cormack (Scott); her son-in-law Lennis Bullen; her sister Rhena; her parents-in-law, Anne MacDonald and Neil MacDonald; her sister-in-law Betty-Ann Patterson; her close friends, Ray McEown and Doug Jones; and her grandchildren, Michael, Gordon, Amie, Willis, Quincy, Megan, Courtney, Kyle, Samantha and Wade.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the All Saints Anglican Church. A reception will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (21 Veterans Way, Huntsville, ON P1H1P4).
