He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Kampers (Leushner); his parents, Hubertus Kampers and Wilhelmina Kampers; his brother Ted Kampers; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Frank, Susan Kampers, Erma Kampers and Sheryl Kampers.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sue Schram (David) of London, Debbie Kampers (Dave) of Ilderton and Kirsten Gabriel (Ben) of Tampa Bay, Florida.; his grandchildren, Garrett, Hudson and Jaimason; and his siblings, Bill Kampers, Mary Frank and Ben Kampers. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
