He was predeceased by: his son Henry; his brother Jack Hereijgers of Bruijn; his parents, Toon Martens and Jonna Martens-Dockx; and his siblings, Catrien Frijters (Kees), Wies Monden-Martens (Jan), Piet Martens (To), Kees Martens (Riet), Sjaan of Koning, Bets Vermeeren-Martens (Kees), Maria Martens-Palada and Coba Hereijgers.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Martens (Hereijgers); his children, Tony, Sharon Martens, Diane Elston, Charles Pickel, Mary Jane, Roy Van Kasteren, Jerry Martens, Joyce Frew, Charlie, Alicia Martens, Marianne, Andy Roelands, Henrietta, Bob Vanhie, Rosemary, Ronald Pols, Joe and Liz Martens; and his siblings, Harrie (Jo Martens), Jo of Koning, Jos Martens, Ria Martens, Annie of Bruijn-Martens, Jan Hereijgers and Mien Hereijgers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
