He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald McNaughton and May McNaughton; and his siblings, Grace (Charles Harris), Irene (Jack Langford), Infant Donald McNaughton, Mary (Wilfred McKichan), Anne (Jim Allardyce), Ruth (Gordon McKeen), Nora (Scott McNair), Peter McNaughton, Jim (Helen McNaughton) and George Bodajla.

He is survived by: his children, Norman, Sandy McNaughton, Barry McNaughton (Vicky McNaughton), Lynn and John Szentimrey; his grandchildren, Steven McNaughton (Janan), Michael McNaughton, Bradley McNaughton (Emily), Kara McNaughton and Jenna McNaughton; his great grandchild Cameron; his sister Donelda Bodajla; and his sibling-in-law Orene McNaughton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
