She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Ronald Hill; her daughter Brenda Davidson (Bruce); her parents, Olive Near and Leon Near; and her brother William Near.
She is survived by: her son Ronald Hill (Cheryl); her granddaughters, Holly Savoie (Yvan), Tamara Marcon (Josh), Amanda Vanrooyen (Eric) and Emily MaGrattan (Derek); her great grandchildren, Tyler, Caleb Vanrooyen, Rebekah-Mae and Noah MaGrattan; and her sibling Shirley Neave (Robert). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Elva's memory can be made to Church of the Epiphany or Salvation Army.
