She was predeceased by: her parents, George Marcellus and Agnes Marcellus; and her grandson Jacob Markell. She is survived by: her husband Brian Dufresne; her children, Tammy Lajoie (Mike) of Okotoks, Alberta, Amanda Dufresne (Ed Markell) of Morrisburg and Joey Dufresne (Karen) of Riverside Heights; her sister Ruth Merkley (late Rowat) of Ingleside; her siblings-in-law, Marie Marcellus (late Ralph) of Riverside Heights and Lee Johnston (late Marion) of Morrisburg; and her grandson Gage Dufresne. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (10 Legion St, Morrisburg, ON K0C1X0).
