With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eva Gail MacLeod of Ingleside, Ontario, who passed away on May 6, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lloyd Markell and Eva Markell; her stepfather Carl Peever; and her siblings, Carol Otto (George) and Gordon Markell (Henriette).

She is survived by : her spouse Iain MacLeod; her children, Rhonda MacLeod-Gaudreau (Martin) of Neguac, NB, Roderick (Julie) of St Andrews West, Norman (Lorie) of Long Sault and Kenneth (Rachael) of Long Sault; her grandchildren, Joshua Lockhart (Pamela), Rachel Lockhart (Nick), Alexander Lockhart, Megan Jackson (Jerrit), Connor (Olivia), Makayla (Darron), Tavish, Maryn (Tyler), John, Abby, Rory and Alec; her great grandchildren, Pearson, Kennedy, Rhys, Blythe, Vaughn, Avery, Emma, Noah, Elaina and Grant; and her siblings, Earl Markell (Lois), Sheila McKenzie (late Donald), Wendy Froats (late Derle), Donna Cotrell (late Bob), Larry Markell (Janet), Cindy Waldroff (Kevin) and Allen Markell.

As expressions of sympathy donations to St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church Ingleside would be appreciated by the family.
