James Robert Grant Dechert Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Dechert and Emma Dechert of Millbank; his wife Rose (Gabrielle); his son Robert Anthony Dechert; and his sisters, Marilyn Flynn and Jean Kleinknecht.

He is survived by: his sons, Bill Dechert (Joan) of Guelph and Steve Dechert (Donna) of Plattsville; his family, Andy Young (Sarah) of Newmarket, Graham Young (Karen) of Crystal Beach, Carrissa McCaw (Brian) of Lakefield and Randy Young (Debra) of Bancroft; his grandchildren, Bradley, Michael, Jeffrey McCaw, Emily and Jonathon Young; his brothers, Keith (Bea) of Elmira, Ken (late Betty) of Stratford and Doug (Linda) of Listowel; and his brother-in-law Frank Kleinknecht.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Brombal Funeral Home (1 Delhi St, Guelph, ON N1E4J3).
