Klaas Vandermeer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Klaas Vandermeer of Innerkip, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Klaas Vandermeer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Vandermeer and Hilly Vandermeer; and his siblings, Dorothy Vanspronsen, Janet Hunnerson and Harry Vandermeer.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Vandermeer; his children, Leona Torres, David McDonald (Ann) and Michael McDonald (Jenn); his brothers, Siebe Vandermeer (Ivy) and Sye Vandermeer (Ellie); and his siblings-in-law, Mike Hunnerson and Sandy Vandermeer. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church (410 Lansdowne Ave, Woodstock, ON N4T1J2). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Bible Society.
