He was predeceased by: his parents, Beryl and Alfred; and his brothers, Paul and Andrew. He is survived by: his wife Christine; his children, Samantha (Daniel), Gareth (Michelle) and Shannon (Kenny); his stepchildren, Tracy (Kevin), Shelley (Rene), Rebecca (Bernie) and Jennifer (Jay); his grandchildren, Britain, Erica, Jacob, Megan, Nolan, Makenzie, Brooklyn, Sydney, Jason, Haley, Emmett, Kelly and Sterling; and his siblings, Michael, Daryl, Gary and Shaun.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SickKids foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, or Charity of Choice.
