She is survived by: her children, Bernd Jakel (Manuela) of Germany, Oliver Jakel (Carol) of Guelph and Susanne Wegele (Peter) of Germany; her sister Anne Link (late Alfred) of Germany; her grandchildren, Alexander, Max, Naomi, Justin, Sophia and Maria; and her great grandchild Emelia-Grace. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
