With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Merkley (Iroquois, Ontario), who passed away on October 21, 2019 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald Merkley to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his wife Lois Merkley; his parents, Mahlon Merkley and Eliza Merkley; and his nephew Mark Prosser. He is survived by : his child Laurie Ouimet (Pierre) of Iroquois; his grandson Stephane Ouimet (Brittany) of Cornwall; his sister Dorothy Reddick of Iroquois; and his brother-in-law Marvin Prosser (Myrna) of Cardinal.

Donations to the South Dundas Animal Shelter or the Wellington House Activity Fund would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
