She was predeceased by: her siblings, Thelma Sutton (Arthur), Gwen Farkas (Edward), William Emberley, Mary Barrett (Philip) and Phyllis Fuller (Douglas).
She is survived by: her husband Bruce Dougal Sutherland; her grandchildren, Lindley Sullivan (Scott) of Thunder Bay, Sydney, Catherine and Jorja Piquette of Iroquois; and her brothers-in-law, Douglas Fuller (Phyllis-Deceased) and Dale Steele (Marjory-Deceased). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Julie's memory may be made to one of the following charities that she supported over many years: Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian National Institute for the Blind, Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
