We announce the death of Richard Banfill of Iroquois, Ontario, who passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 57. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Richard will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Richard’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Banfill and Janet Banfill. He is survived by: his children, Maranda Banfill (Steven) of Ingleside and Camden Banfill of Iroquois; his siblings, Frances Banfill (Andre Rocheleau) of Richmond, Quebec., Bruce Banfill (Helen Johnston) of Richmond, Quebec. and Karen Banfill (Guillaume Viegas) of Richmond, Quebec.; and his granddaughter Steffanie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
