He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bailey and Elizabeth Bailey; his brothers, Louis and Norman Bailey; and his siblings-in-law, Theresa Bailey, Jim Blakely, Bert Wood, Herman Hutt, Raymond Menard, Allan Blair and Marcel Gauvreau.
He is survived by: his wife Doreen Gauvreau; his children, John (Giselle) of Inverary, David (Traci) of Inverary and Gerry (Melissa) of Napanee; his sisters, Kay Hutt, Leah Blakely, Edith Wood, Joyce Menard, Liz Asselin (Jacques) and Ann Blair; his grandchildren, Chris (Lulu), Jenna (Jeff), Zach (Heather), Riley (Kaitlyn), Dain and Ty; his great grandchildren, Liam and Lily; and his sisters-in-law, Audrey Bailey of Iroquois and Cathy Ferguson (Wayne) of Brockville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
