She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gilbey and Geraldine Gilbey; her siblings, Bud Gilbey, Doris Gilbey and Ivan Gilbey; her husband Vernon King; and her son William Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Thompson, Gary Thompson and Charlotte Stier (Thompson); and her grandchildren, Crystal (Grant), Jason (Heather), Serena (Kent), Chris (Michelle), Shaun and Nannie. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
