He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Barbara Lavis and Catherine Patchett. He is survived by: his parents, John Lavis of Jackson's Point and Dawn Patchett of Keswick; his siblings, Tricia and Nathan; his grandfather Wayne Lavis; his uncles, Wayne, Kevin and Darren; and his aunt Debbie.
