He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomson and Jessie; and his stepfather Harold Crawford. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Nicole, Harvey Haanstra of Fisherville, Melissa, Brad Fryett of Jarvis, Matthew Crawford and Adam Benn of Hamilton; his grandchildren, Jacob, Hilary, Reed Haanstra, Kennedy, Cooper and Van Fryett; and his siblings, Bill, Mary Crawford of Caledonia, Steve, Lynn Crawford and Jim Crawford.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (19 Talbot St W, Jarvis, ON N0A1J0). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Knox Presbyterian Church Cemetery (24 Walpole Drive, Jarvis, ON N0A1J0).
