She was predeceased by : her husband Stanley George Hoover; her grandson Tim Hoover; and her siblings, Michael, Harry, Gerald and Lillian Siple.

She is survived by : her children, Gayle Hare (Rolly Cassidy) of Port Dover, Deb Sasseville (Rick) of Port Dover and Millard Hoover of Kingston; and her grandchildren, Brook, Brent, Angela Hare, Ashley Brinkmann (Markus), Dayna Marks (Aaron) and Melanie Hoover. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
