He was predeceased by : his brothers, Dorland and Jerry. He is survived by : his son Greg; his wife Patricia; his children, Philipp, Daniel, Carly (Matthew Nie) and Becky (Leonard Eggink); his grandchildren, Elisabeth, Autumn, Amalia, Emerson, Matthew Jr., Dean, Levi, Calvin and Nathan; his siblings, Darlene Lambrect (late Bill), Gary Haskell (Irene), Patsy Haskell, Beverly Jean Stone (late Bill), Judy Haskell (Dave Cowan) and Gord Haskell (Teresa Acton); and his siblings-in-law, Rose Poortinga, Hank Poortinga (Joanne), Chris Poortinga (late Andy Poortinga), Eddie Poortinga, Kathy Oussoren and Pier Poortinga.
