She was predeceased by: her parents, William MacAlpine and Cecilia MacAlpine. She is survived by: her husband Donald Dufresne; her daughters, Lori (Robert) and Heather (Michael); and her grandchildren, Shaelyn, Breana, Laureli and Arilyn.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that any donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario (https://alzheimer.ca) in honor of Susan's memory.
