She was predeceased by: her parents, Artturi Mannisto and Siiri Mannisto; her brothers, Uunto and Reijo; her husband Pentti Ryyppo; her son Markku; and her friend Pekka.

She is survived by: her daughter Aira Rathje (George); her grandchildren, Stewart and Kerry LoBianco (John); her great grandchildren, Michael and Grace; and her daughter-in-law Debbie.
