He was predeceased by : his parents, Vincent and Margaret; and his siblings, Denis, George, Joan, Helen, Rosalie and Terry.

He is survived by : his wife Sylvia; his children, Claudine Schopf (Chad) of Airdrie, AB and Derek (Tracy) of Kemptville, ON.; his grandchildren, Ethan, Aiden and Corbyn; his sisters, Iona (Ken) and Cordelia (Jean Paul); and also Gord Guibouche. He is also survived by (adopted son) and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
