With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Ann Aly of Kanata, Ontario, born in Ottawa, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2026 at the age of 74. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Carol Ann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her brother David Williams (Anabelle). She is survived by: her husband Adel Aly; her son Shawn; her daughter-in-law Dominique; and her siblings, Joanne Williams, Duane and Jen Williams.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kelly Funeral Home - Kanata Chapel (580 Eagleson Rd, Kanata, ON K2M1H4). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Notre Dame Cemetery (455 Montréal Rd, Ottawa, ON K1K0V3).
