He was predeceased by : his father Lloyd Poole; and his father-in-law Edward Kelly. He is survived by : his wife Edwina Poole; his children, Megan and Matthew; his mother Pauline Poole; his brothers, Steve Poole (Tara) and Marcel Poole; his nieces, Manuelle Shea (Billy) and Olivia Poole; his uncle Edwin "Brud" Poole; his mother-in-law Pauline Kelly; his sister-in-law Cynthia "Cindy" Kelly; and his pets, Riley and Jack.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Cory's memory.
