It is with sadness that the passing of David Charles Ridley (Kanata, Ontario) is shared. David, born on February 13, 1957, passed away on July 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
David will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour David by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathie Thompson; his child Cory Knowles (Shelagh Sutherland) of Woodstock; his grandson Connor Sutherland-Knowles; his parents, Kenneth David and Barbara May Ridley; his siblings, Garth Ridley (Heather) and Patricia Copperthwaite (late Terry); and his nibling Blair Ridley. He was also cherished by numerous cousins and countless special friends.
