She is survived by: her son Patrick Byrne (Nicole); her grandchildren, Samuel, Mallory and Alison; her nieces and nephews, Julie (Chris), Karen (Jeff) and Blair (Shannon); her brother George; and her sister-in-law Paulette.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Eileen's memory may be made to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario.
