She is survived by: her sibling Everard; her husband Howard Gaul; her children, Susan Hamel (Bob) of Calgary, Howard Gaul of Kitchener, Joanne Killingsworth (Gord) of Burlington, Lesley Bertrand (Gaul) of Ottawa and Jennifer Gaul of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Meagan (Doug), Christie (Malcolm), Gordon (Catherine), Brian (Keira), Steven (Jessica), Justin (Daniel), Connor (Jamie), Lindsay (David) and Olivia; her great grandchildren, Grace, Jack, Abigail, Holly, Alexander, Benson, Mackenzie, Morgan, Evangeline, Isla, Noah, Charlotte, Addison, Jordan and Parker; her caregivers, Michelle, Serena, Laurie, Jerry, Sam, Lisa, Sharon, Rebecca and Courtney (Fitzi Grant); and her friend Helen Carty. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She faced life's challenges, including later-in-life health scares and the trials of a global pandemic, with a remarkable spirit that allowed her to rebound stronger each time.
