She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert W. Houle and Margaret A. Houle (Burns) of Massey; her brothers, Linton, Albert U., Lionel, Eloie and Austin Houle; her grandchildren, Patrick and Robbie; her great grandchildren, Molly and Angel; and her daughter Margaret Nelson.
She is survived by : her spouse Gil Godin.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, on May 24, 2021 a private service limited to a small number of immediate family only will be held at Immaculate Conception Parish, Massey Ontario with interment following at the Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Immaculate Conception Parish named for the Blessed Virgin Mary to whom she had a lifelong devotion and where Elva was baptized, confirmed and married.
