She was predeceased by: her former husband Joseph Kanonowicz; and her son Rande. She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Lori (Fred), Elaine (Dave), Louise (Guy) and Jason; and her stepchildren, Matthew (Jennifer), Andrew and Sarah. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kelly Funeral Home - Kanata Chapel (580 Eagleson Rd, Kanata, ON K2M1H4). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Gladys' memory to either the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or St. Patrick's Home of Ottawa.
